As a Postpartum Doula, I am a non-medical support professional trained to care for newborns, mothers, and families after birth. I follow all safety guidelines and standards set by DONA International. Since becoming a mother myself, I have been deeply passionate about the bond between Mom and Baby and believe this early time together is so important for both. As your Postpartum Doula, my goal is to help you transition smoothly into life with Baby. These precious first months become lifelong memories, and I am honored to support your family so those memories are as joyful, supported, and peaceful as possible.

I offer hands-on assistance tailored to your family’s needs, including:

Using soothing techniques to help Baby settle or sleep
-
Making sure Mom has healthy snacks and stays well hydrated
-

-
Offering foot soaks and gentle massage for Mom, if desired.
Emotional
Comfort

I provide compassionate, judgment-free emotional care by:
-
Offering companionship, validation, and encouragement.
-
Empowering you to trust your instincts.
-

Overnight
Care

If Mom is breastfeeding, it is essential to ensure Baby is feeding effectively and comfortably for both Baby and Mom. Breastfeeding can be challenging to establish, but early support often prevents ongoing issues. For this reason, I prefer to visit breastfeeding families within the first three days after Baby’s birth if possible.

Informative
Guidance
I also share evidence-based guidance, including:
-
Helping you recognize and respond to Baby’s cues
-
Supporting feeding progress, whether breast or bottle
-
Sharing best practices for breast milk or formula storage
-
Providing information on newborn sleep and development, lactation and breastfeeding, and postpartum mental health
-
Offering referrals to trusted local resources when needed

For families who choose overnight support, I can help by:
-
Bringing Baby to you for feedings or offering a bottle
-
Handling diaper changes and settling Baby back to sleep
-
Keeping a log of Baby’s feedings, diapers, and sleep
-
Assisting with baby laundry and light household tasks
-
Supporting you in getting a restful night so you are ready for the day
